wedding shower…

Standard

I am planning my sister’s wedding shower in June.  She wanted a camping themed shower.  In case you all have been looking lately…this is not a common theme.  It has a plethora (I know..great word) of possibilities, but I wanted it to stay somewhat feminine, but also outdoorsy!

Here is the invitation I reinvented from an earlier design…

I think she will like it!  Onto finishing up the other decorations and planning the menu.

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up soon.  Heritage Makers latest challenge has to do with creating something to show appreciation for a teacher I have had or a teacher my daughter has had.  I decided Cupcakes-In-A-Jar would be a perfect little gift.  I created  decorations and tags for the jars once they have been filled with cupcakes and frosting. I haven’t decided if I am going to tackle this project with all I have coming up in the next couple of weeks, but I wanted to share the submission with you.  Here it is:

scrapin Heritage Maker style…

I have been a new member of Heritage Makers Digital Scrapbooking website for about 6 months.  While some are incredibly dedicated to traditional scrapbooking I love digital.  It allows for me to be creative without having to store all the do dads, paper, tools and such.  I get to create it all on my computer and click a button and it magically arrives in my mailbox and then into my scrapbook.  Here are the last two projects I created for my nieces, Brooke and Addison. These will become 3-dimensional once they arrive with just a few cuts and folds.  They will look pretty in the girls rooms and they were so easy to do.  The hardest part was picking the paper.
